Andy is a founding member whose love of dogs has been a constant throughout his life. Alongside caring for his own dogs over the years, he has also been entrusted with the care of many dogs belonging to other families.

As the youngest member of the team, Andy brings the energy needed for active dogs and energetic walks. He understands the value of giving dogs the exercise, stimulation and company they need rather than treating every walk or visit the same.

Andy is also well suited to overnight pet sitting, providing attentive companionship when owners are out of town or simply need to be away from home.

Shirley is a co-founder and supports the team’s home-boarding service. She has fostered for Golden Rescue for many years, bringing valuable experience with dogs entering a different home and adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings.
Her own two dogs are accustomed to welcoming visiting dogs as new friends, helping create the home-based, kennel-free environment PTBO Pet & Home Minders is known for.
Alongside hands-on care, Shirley supports business promotion, coordinates bookings and speaks with prospective clients. These conversations help the team understand each pet, discuss availability and make sure the proposed arrangement is suitable before care begins.
